Who We Are
Rayco Civils is an Irish-owned civil contractor and groundworks specialist based at Unit 6, Cullentra Lane, Monamolin, Co. Wexford, working on sites across Ireland. From early-stage site clearance and excavation to foundations, drainage, ducting and structural concrete works, we deliver the substructure stage for one-off homes, housing developments, commercial yards, industrial units, farms and infrastructure schemes.

A civil contractor handles everything below ground and at site level — site clearance, bulk excavation, foundations, drainage and ducting, reinforced concrete, retaining structures, kerbing and access roads — preparing a site so the main build can begin.
What groundworks services do Rayco Civils provide?+
Site strip and clearance, bulk and reduced-level excavation, muck-away, imported and compacted fill, strip, pad and raft foundations, foul and storm drainage, ESB and telecoms ducting, concrete slabs, retaining walls, kerbing and access roads.
Can you take the complete groundworks package?+
Yes. We regularly deliver the full substructure scope — clearance and dig through fill, foundations, drainage, ducting and slab — so one contractor is responsible for the levels and one set of records exists at certification.
Do you prepare sites for modular and steel-frame buildings?+
Yes. We set out bases and pad foundations from the frame or module supplier's drawing, including holding-down bolt positions, and survey the finished base levels before delivery is booked.

How much do groundworks and foundations cost in Ireland?+
Cost is driven by dig depth, ground conditions, muck-away volumes, imported fill, reinforcement, concrete volume and access — not by floor area alone. Send drawings or a site location and we issue an itemised quotation, usually within a few working days.
What information do you need to provide a quotation?+
Site layout and levels, foundation details, drainage layout and any site investigation report. Where drawings are not ready, a site location and a description of the intended build is enough for an initial conversation.
Are you insured and accredited?+
Yes — full Public Liability and Employer's Liability insurance, all operatives Safe Pass and CSCS qualified, and every project delivered under RAMS and proper site management.
