Drainage & Ducting Wexford

Rayco Civils is based at Unit 6, Cullentra Lane, Cullentra, Monamolin, Co. Wexford (Y25 F5P6), so Wexford sites are served directly from our own yard — plant, crews and materials all mobilise locally.

Drainage is trench work, so it's the trade most exposed to weather and to what's under the topsoil. Being local means we can sequence around the weather instead of losing a whole mobilisation to a wet week.

Foul drainage runs, manholes and connections; storm and surface-water systems including gullies, channel drainage and downpipe connections; soakaways and attenuation where the design requires on-site disposal or flow control; and land drainage on wetter agricultural ground.

We also install ESB, Eir and gas ducting in the same trenching operation where the layout allows, which saves opening the ground twice.

Disposal method is the thing that most changes a Wexford drainage job. Free-draining sands and gravels in parts of the county can suit soakaway disposal; heavier clay inland often can't, which pushes the design towards attenuation or a controlled outfall.

Percolation testing, site suitability assessment and system design are the assessor's and designer's remit — we install to the design produced and to the relevant standards and connection requirements.
