Drainage Contractors in Ireland

Drainage contractors install and repair the pipework that removes waste water and surface water from a site: foul networks, storm networks, manholes and gullies, attenuation and soakaways, land drainage, and connections to the public sewer or treatment system.

Overview

Drainage is graded work. A pipe laid at the wrong fall, bedded badly or connected across systems creates a problem that only shows up after everything above it is finished.

Rayco Civils is a civil engineering and groundworks contractor based in Monamolin, Co. Wexford, working on sites across Ireland. Send drawings or a site location and we will price the works.

Scope of works

Foul drainage networks and connections
Storm and surface water drainage
Manholes, gullies, channels and inspection chambers
Attenuation tanks, flow controls and soakaways
Land drainage and field drainage
Drain repairs, replacements and re-routing

Foul and storm kept separate

Foul and storm systems are installed as separate networks and connected to their correct outfalls. Cross-connection is one of the most common defects found on completed sites and one of the most expensive to unpick.

Falls, bedding and testing

Pipes are laid to the designed falls on proper bedding and surround, with manholes and rodding access at the required intervals. Runs are checked before backfill so problems are found while the trench is still open.

Attenuation and surface water conditions

Planning conditions increasingly restrict discharge rates. Attenuation crates or tanks, hydrobrakes and permeable surfacing are installed to the drainage engineer's design, with as-built records provided.
