Ducting for power, telecoms, water and gas is installed on agreed routes before surfaces are closed, with draw cords and chamber positions recorded so the utility providers can pull in later without reopening finished ground.
As-built records
Drainage runs, chamber positions, duct routes and levels are recorded as the works proceed, which is what local authorities and utility providers look for at handover.
