Hold points respected
Subgrade inspections, reinforcement inspections and drainage testing are treated as hold points. Work does not proceed past them without the design team's sign-off.
Changed ground conditions handled properly
If the ground does not match the site investigation, we record what was found, photograph it and seek an instruction rather than making a design decision on site.
Records built as we go
Levels, layer thicknesses, test results, delivery dockets and as-built drainage runs are captured during the works so the certification pack is complete at handover.

Yes. The issued drawings and specification govern the work, and any proposed alternative is raised with the design team for approval before it is used.
What records do you provide at certification stage?+
Setting-out and achieved level records, compaction test results where specified, concrete delivery dockets, drainage test records and as-built drainage information.
How do you handle unforeseen ground conditions?+
Work stops at that location, conditions are recorded and photographed, and the revised approach is agreed with the engineer before proceeding.
