Civil Works for Private Clients & One-Off Homes

For most people a self-build is the largest project they will ever commission, and groundworks is the stage where the money disappears fastest and the least is visible afterwards.

We price one-off houses the same way we price commercial work: measured items, stated assumptions, clear exclusions and a named contact who answers the phone. No vague day rates, no surprises at the end.

What we deliver

Site clearance, topsoil strip and levelling
Foundations — strip, pad or raft — to your engineer's design
Foul drainage, percolation areas and treatment system installation
Storm drainage, soakaways and rainwater connections
Radon barriers, insulation, reinforcement and ground floor slabs
Driveways, entrance works, patios and hard landscaping

How we approach private clients & one-off homes projects

Get us in before planning is finalised

Reviewing site levels and drainage routes early can remove real cost — a metre less dig or a shorter drainage run is money saved before anyone breaks ground.

Trial holes are worth the money

A day of trial holes tells your engineer what foundation you actually need, which is far cheaper than discovering it halfway through a dig.

Everything documented for certification

Level records, concrete dockets and as-built drainage are kept as we go, so your assigned certifier has what they need at sign-off.

Yes. We set out from their drawings, work to their specification and give them notice at each inspection hold point.

Can you install a wastewater treatment system?+

Yes — treatment systems and percolation areas installed to the site characterisation report and manufacturer's requirements.
