Urban sites often have live services crossing them. Routes are traced and proven before digging, and excavation near them is carried out to the utility provider's requirements rather than by machine alone.
Constrained access and neighbours
Muck-away, deliveries and concrete pours have to be planned around limited access and working-hour restrictions, which affects both sequencing and the plant used.
Storm water conditions are usually onerous
Impermeable footprints on urban sites bring restricted discharge rates. Attenuation, permeable surfacing and flow controls are installed to the drainage engineer's design with as-built records.

Yes. Existing slabs, bases and hardstanding are broken out and removed as part of the enabling works, with structural demolition handled by our sister company Rayco Demolition.
