Foundations and Site Works for Modular Construction
Modular and offsite buildings are manufactured to fine tolerances, so the base they land on has to be right first time. Rayco Civils builds the platform, foundation, drainage and access needed for delivery day.
Because manufactured units arrive on fixed slots, the civils programme is planned to protect that date rather than absorb slippage.

Tolerances are stricter than traditional build
Levels, dimensions and service positions follow the manufacturer's tolerance requirements, and achieved values are recorded and checked before delivery is released.
Delivery day is designed, not hoped for
Crane standing, outrigger loading, turning circles and low-loader routes are built into the site setup so ground conditions never hold up a delivery slot.
Everything underground finished first
Drainage and ducting are completed and proven ahead of delivery, because access to those positions disappears once units are set.

Can you build to a module manufacturer's tolerances?+
Yes. We work to the tolerances stated in the manufacturer's base requirements and record achieved levels and dimensions for sign-off before delivery.
Do you prepare crane and delivery access?+
Yes — crane standing areas, hard standing and delivery routes can be included in the civils package.
How far in advance should the base be ready?+
Far enough ahead of the delivery slot to allow concrete to gain strength and for a pre-delivery survey against the manufacturer's checklist to be completed.
